Why work at Yamaha/Yamaha Motor Ventures? What are you most excited about working in Yamaha Motor Ventures?
Yamaha is a Kando-creating company that offers a wide range of products catering to many aspects of life—consistently exceeding customer expectations. I joined Yamaha because I wanted to be part of a global brand and contribute to delivering Kando. After joining Yamaha Motor, I was primarily involved in digital marketing and customer insights, which gave me a deeper understanding of the company’s impact and the value we bring to customers around the world.
I came from the Digital Strategy Division, where our mission was to “Personalize Kando at Scale.” Through my work, I realized that many emerging technologies were not always on the radar in Japan. This sparked my curiosity and desire to learn more. Wanting to broaden my perspective and stay aligned with current tech trends to better support the Yamaha group, I expressed my interest and am now a fellow at YMV. Through this experience, I aim to create value for portfolio companies by matching their needs with the appropriate business units at headquarters.
What do you love to do outside of work?
